Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC) is a community-based, nonprofit organization founded in 1979. NMIC has grown into a leading multi-service agency with over 140 staff members serving New York City, focusing on upper Manhattan and the Bronx. NMIC aims to serve as a catalyst for positive change in the lives of community members through various programs, including legal, social, and educational services, facilitating self-sufficiency.
