Job Description

Overview

The Salesforce Administrator at Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC) will be pivotal in the organization's Salesforce transformation, focusing on effective data use to enhance client services. This role involves supporting the implementation, maintenance, and daily operations of NMIC's Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud environment, collaborating with program staff and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery and data reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with Salesforce configuration, updates, and enhancements
  • Support testing and deployment of new functionality
  • Provide helpdesk support and troubleshoot system issues
  • Deliver onboarding and training for system users
  • Monitor and improve data quality and perform routine system updates
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards for program performance
  • Collaborate with external Salesforce implementation partners for rollout activities
  • Support change management and user adoption

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in a nonprofit setting
  • Salesforce Administrator certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong data management skills including imports/exports and data quality
  • Experience with Flow Builder, user management, custom objects, and reports
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with datasets
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
