Job Description

Overview

Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC) is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join their team during a major Salesforce transformation. This role is crucial for building sustainable internal Salesforce capacity and will involve supporting the implementation, maintenance, and day-to-day operation of NMIC's Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud environment, working closely with program staff to enhance service delivery and reporting.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with Salesforce configuration, updates, and enhancements
  • Support testing and deployment of new functionality
  • Provide helpdesk support for staff using Salesforce and related tools
  • Deliver onboarding and training for system users
  • Monitor and improve data quality through validation and cleanup
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards
  • Collaborate with external Salesforce implementation partner for rollout activities
  • Assist with data migration and transition from legacy systems
  • Support change management for Salesforce updates

Required skills

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Experience with Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) or Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP)
  • Proficiency in Flow Builder, user management, custom objects, and reports
  • Strong data management skills including data imports/exports and validation
  • Salesforce Administrator certification or willingness to obtain
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong Excel skills
