Job Description

Overview

The Okonite Company is seeking an Experienced Senior Electronic Analyst/Technician for a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing support role in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating proficiency in electrical trade skills and automation controls.

Key responsibilities

  • Install and modify electrical circuits and machinery control circuits
  • Troubleshoot and repair various equipment and infrastructure
  • Maintain and install AC and DC motors and drives
  • Work with building controls and power distribution systems
  • Manage automation controls, including PLCs and HMI controls
  • Handle data exchange and communications equipment
  • Support machine automation control with analog and digital process devices

Required skills

  • 3 to 5 years of industrial experience
  • Associates Degree in Electronics or Electrical Technology preferred
  • PLC programming skills
  • Electrical troubleshooting and circuit design
  • Experience with automation controls and process controllers
  • Knowledge of AC motors, DC motors, and power distribution
