Job Description

Overview

Raucy is seeking a Workers' Compensation Manager, Aviation to lead a regional program supporting a major U.S. aviation client. This role offers an opportunity to drive improvements in claims performance and operational excellence within a rapidly growing organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and own the regional workers' compensation program strategy, execution, and performance results
  • Oversee day-to-day regional claims activity to ensure regulatory compliance and service excellence
  • Serve as the primary escalation leader for complex claims matters
  • Partner with the aviation client's Risk Management team to align program outcomes with organizational priorities
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics for TPAs and insurance carriers
  • Analyze loss trends and identify systemic risks
  • Design and enhance governance processes and reporting frameworks
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen financial and service outcomes

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum five years of progressive workers' compensation claims experience
  • Experience leading lost-time adjusters or claims teams
  • Advanced knowledge of workers' compensation claims strategy
  • Strong financial acumen related to total cost of risk
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency preferred
  • Experience with insurance carriers and TPAs
