This is more than a teaching opportunity. It is an opportunity to help children discover their voice, build confidence, develop courage, and begin identifying their unique purpose in life. Teach for Purpose Fellows use their own experiences and life lessons to inspire and encourage the next generation through meaningful conversations and small-group learning experiences. What You'll Do Lead purpose-focused discussions and small-group learning experiences with children. Share personal experiences that encourage resilience, growth, and hope. Help children recognize their strengths, values, and future potential. Complete the self-paced Voice Up Purpose Fellowship training program. Teach on a flexible schedule that works for you. Submit a simple monthly invoice for completed hours. The Bureaucratic Version of the Naming Gap The school's most prominent real-world application right now is a live public platform built entirely around a single deadline: new federal Medicaid rules, signed into law in the summer of 2025, that will require many adults on Medicaid to demonstrate eighty hours a month of work, study, or community service to keep their coverage, with states required to implement the requirement no later than January 1, 2027. One state has already gone live with its own version of the rule ahead of that deadline. The platform Voice Up built in response follows a simple framework it calls Know, Check, Act an eligibility checker, a zip-code search for local help, role-based dashboards tailored to nine different kinds of community members, from faith leaders and healthcare executives to family advocates and students, and downloadable guides available in eight languages, including right-to-left translations for Arabic and Urdu.
