A well-established hospital system in Eastern Oregon is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Urgent Care team on a locum tenens basis. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality care in a collaborative environment, serving a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide urgent care services in a community hospital-based environment
  • Work collaboratively with clinical team members
  • Perform clinical assessments and patient care for all ages
  • Utilize EMR system (EPIC) for patient records
  • Operate in a supportive, patient-centered atmosphere

Required skills

  • Experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Active Oregon medical license
  • DEA certification
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with emergency medicine
