Overview

HCA HealthONE Esprit OB/GYN Center is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist Perinatal who will provide specialized expertise in the evaluation of fetal and gynecological anomalies. The position requires no nights, on-call, weekends, or holidays, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while focusing on delivering high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply fetal ultrasound principles to evaluate fetal anomalies
  • Apply gynecological ultrasound principles to evaluate patients
  • Adapt to various ultrasound machines while maintaining high standards of sonography
  • Identify fetal anomalies, including CNS, maxillofacial, and cardiothoracic conditions
  • Perform ultrasounds on maternal uterus, cervix, and ovaries
  • Conduct complicated twin and triplet scans
  • Identify gynecological anomalies such as fibroids and polyps
  • Make preliminary diagnoses of gynecological and fetal disorders
  • Maintain ultrasound logging records and prepare patients for procedures
  • Exercise independent judgment when interpreting Biophysical Profiles
  • Alert physicians of potentially dangerous conditions
  • Diagnose fetal weight disturbances and multiple fetal anomalies

Required skills

  • Minimum one-year specialty ultrasound experience
  • Associates degree in Ultrasound required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • RDMS certification required
  • RDMS - OB/GYN preferred
  • Proficiency in operating General Electric, Accuson, Medison, and ATL ultrasound machines
