Overview

Walterboro OB/GYN is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join their healthcare team. This full-time position offers a day shift from Monday to Friday, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. The role involves providing high-quality ultrasound diagnostic procedures and ensuring patient care is delivered efficiently and compassionately.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasonic medical diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians
  • Schedule patients for ultrasonic diagnostic procedures
  • Position patients and select the appropriate transducer
  • Conduct scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment
  • Manage processing and documentation including developing film and documenting tests
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and notify management of faulty equipment
  • Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values Statements

Required skills

  • Minimum of one year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer
  • Certification in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance with state regulations
  • Current ARRT or ARDMS license
  • Knowledge of ultrasound imaging and equipment maintenance
