Overview

Memorial Health - Women's Care is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to provide high-quality patient care through diagnostic ultrasound procedures. This role requires collaboration within an amazing team and adherence to the organization's mission and values.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasonic medical diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians
  • Schedule patients for ultrasonic diagnostic procedures
  • Position patients and select the appropriate transducer
  • Conduct scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment
  • Manage processing and documentation including developing film and ensuring records are correct
  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and notify management of faulty equipment
  • Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values Statements

Required skills

  • Minimum of one year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer
  • Certification in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance with state regulations
  • Current ARRT or ARDMS license
