Overview

Essential Staffing Solutions is looking for a Tax Credit Apartment Leasing Professional with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience. This role is suited for individuals who excel in fast-paced and compliance-focused environments while providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct property tours and communicate features and benefits to prospective residents
  • Guide prospective residents through the application and leasing process
  • Ensure compliance with LIHTC/TAX CREDIT housing regulations
  • Process lease agreements, renewals, and move-in/move-out documentation
  • Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in person promptly
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents

Required skills

  • 1 year of apartment leasing experience with LIHTC/TAX CREDIT housing
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Housing laws and compliance requirements
  • Experience with Yardi, OneSite, or similar leasing software
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to tour properties, including walking and stair climbing
  • Availability to work weekends as needed
