Overview

The Systems Specialist - Industrial at Baker Group will support the Project Controls team in developing and documenting core processes within the Industrial Business Unit. The role involves utilizing tools like Procore to enhance efficiency and provide training, as well as collaborating with team members to solve ongoing issues related to applications and software.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the Project Controls team by researching best practices and documenting procedures.
  • Oversee the rollout of new applications and provide training to project management teams.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Procore-related matters.
  • Develop reporting tools within Procore and communicate changes to the business unit.
  • Assist in identifying new tools to improve efficiencies within the Industrial BU.
  • Engage in preconstruction phases by creating project-specific plans for application use.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve software-related issues.
  • Provide extra support during reporting periods for industrial projects.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Six years of progressive work experience preferred
  • General knowledge of the construction industry
  • Extensive practical experience with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access)
  • Procore Certifications
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Project management and personal management skills
  • Advanced computer software skills
  • Problem-solving capability
