Overview

EnTech Resources, LLC is seeking a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent for a landfill soil and waste remediation project in Salt Lake City, Utah. The role involves overseeing earthwork, managing on-site contractors, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct and manage daily field activities related to waste excavation and placement.
  • Supervise grading, cut/fill operations, erosion controls, and drainage features.
  • Monitor production rates and constructability to meet project schedule and budget.
  • Oversee environmental remediation activities including soil handling and groundwater management.
  • Ensure compliance with project permits and regulatory conditions.
  • Coordinate environmental monitoring and inspections with consultants.
  • Maintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports and logs.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for project managers and contractors.
  • Assist with planning and sequencing of project work.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide field input.
  • Maintain company trucks and tools in good condition.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health plans.
