Overview

INNCAREERS is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer specializing in Electronic Attack and Electronic Protect to join their Systems Architecture Design and Integration Directorate. The role involves designing and developing advanced surveillance radar programs, requiring collaboration across multiple teams and locations as well as significant technical expertise in radar system engineering.

Key responsibilities

  • Support radar system concept development and architectural design
  • Generate and flow down system requirements
  • Conduct modeling, simulation, and systems analysis
  • Perform integration, test, and evaluation of systems
  • Execute system engineering trades studies to address technical issues
  • Coordinate development and integration with multi-discipline teams

Required skills

  • 8+ years of professional radar system engineering experience
  • Knowledge of Electronic Attack (EA) and Electronic Protect (EP) techniques
  • Experience in developing and documenting EP capabilities
  • Modeling and simulating EA/EP techniques in Matlab or similar tools
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Familiarity with commercial communications waveforms and radar countermeasures
  • Experience with RF Systems Engineering and performance analysis
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to complete designs on schedule and within budget
