Powerback Rehabilitation is looking for a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team at Cedar Hill nursing home in Windsor, Vermont. The role involves helping patients regain their communication abilities and providing essential therapy in a supportive environment that enhances quality of life.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver effective and efficient rehabilitation services
  • Design and execute personalized therapy plans for patients
  • Assist patients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Train patients and caregivers to promote independence
  • Collaborate with peers and make referrals as necessary

Required skills

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Licensure or certification as required in the state of practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy to individual patient needs
