Overview

Aya Locums is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Abbeville, Louisiana. The role offers independent practice with an Anesthesiologist available for support, focusing on bread and butter anesthesia cases within a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures
  • Work full-time, Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 3 PM
  • Manage patient care in inpatient settings
  • Handle cases including OB, epidurals, urology, ENT, ortho, and occasional podiatry & pediatric dental
  • Be available for on-call support as needed

Required skills

  • CRNA certification
  • Experience with Cerner EMR
  • Ability to perform regional anesthesia techniques
  • Experience in adult and geriatric care
