Overview

As a Silver Lake Concessions Cook II at Deer Valley Resort, you will play a vital role in the preparation and presentation of daily menus while ensuring the quality and efficiency of food service during peak hours. This seasonal position is perfect for those who enjoy working in a dynamic, diverse environment amidst the beautiful Wasatch Mountains.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the sous chef and Cook III with food preparation and presentation
  • Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections
  • Maintain clean service lines and ensure food selections are well-stocked
  • Ensure sufficient mise-en-place for daily requirements
  • Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness
  • Complete daily inventories
  • Assist servers during busy times
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Previous cooking experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry 25-50 lbs.
