Overview

Deer Valley Resort is seeking a Silver Lake Concessions Cook II for the summer season in 2026. The role involves assisting in the preparation and presentation of daily menus while ensuring service lines are clean and food selections are well-stocked during peak hours. The position is part of a diverse team in a scenic resort environment, welcoming seasonal workers from various backgrounds.

Key responsibilities

  • Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections
  • Keep service lines clean and ensure food selections are well-stocked
  • Ensure mise-en-place is prepared in sufficient quantities
  • Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness
  • Complete daily inventories
  • Assist servers during busy times
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Previous cooking experience
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Capability to lift and carry 25 - 50 lbs
