Overview

Pawn Pro is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Associate/Pawn Broker to join their team in Syracuse, New York. This role involves assessing the value of items brought in by customers, negotiating loans or purchases, and maintaining compliance with regulations while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Provide information about the pawn process, interest rates, and terms
  • Evaluate the value of items brought in for pawn or sale
  • Negotiate fair loan amounts or purchase prices with customers
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations governing pawn transactions
  • Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations regarding pawn transactions
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and provide guidance to less experienced staff
