Job Description

Overview

Micron is seeking a Senior Photolithography Process Engineer to improve product quality and drive process yield improvements as part of their significant investment in semiconductor manufacturing in Boise, Idaho. The engineer will collaborate with multi-functional teams to tackle process issues, improve efficiency, and optimize processes within a fast-paced industry focused on innovation.

Key responsibilities

  • Start up, develop, and optimize processes for better product quality
  • Drive yield improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement
  • Resolve manufacturing line problems in collaboration with teams
  • Complete project milestones to close gaps in yield, defectivity, production, and cost
  • Analyze SPC charts and implement improvements

Required skills

  • 2+ years of industry experience as Process Owner within Photolithography
  • BS or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience
  • Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Data Science and Programming
