Job Description

Overview

Micron is seeking a Senior Photolithography Process Engineer to play a key role in the development and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes. This position is pivotal within the context of Micron's significant investment in the Boise facility, aimed at enhancing production capabilities and product quality in the semiconductor industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Start up, develop, and optimize processes to improve product quality
  • Drive process yield improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues
  • Complete project milestones related to yield, defectivity, production, and cost gaps
  • Manage and improve statistical process control (SPC) charts

Required skills

  • 2+ years of industry experience as a Process Owner within Photolithography
  • BS or Masters in Engineering, equivalent military experience, or AAS with 5+ years of industry experience
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in data science and programming skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training
