Overview

The Senior Paralegal for Personal Injury Litigation at Catastrophic Injury Law Firm will manage all phases of personal injury litigation files, from intake through trial. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as extensive experience in personal injury law.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of personal injury litigation files
  • Draft pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and settlement packages
  • Prepare and review discovery documents and deposition summaries
  • Coordinate expert witnesses and trial exhibits
  • Assist in trial preparation, including motions in limine and pre-trial memoranda
  • Monitor and respond to subpoenas and court deadlines
  • E-file court documents accurately in PA and NJ state and federal courts
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

Required skills

  • Minimum 10 years of litigation experience in personal injury law
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with case management software
  • Familiarity with Westlaw and/or LexisNexis
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Law firm experience
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus
