We boldly go.Where is the work:On-Site (5 days) What's in it for you: As Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. You will work with cross-functional teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and operational efficiency improvements. You will develop and define concepts and manufacturing processes for all new product introductions and product enhancement programs. What you will do:Design and develop processes for factory transformation projects and equipment implementation.Improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy consumption, and downtime reduction.Provide technical/subject matter expertise and guidance for the resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems.Serve as a resource for cause/effect investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning. Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.Uphold manufacturing standards include machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings and cycle times.Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.Partner with on-site EHS to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA.What you will bring: 5+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.Project Management, Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software experienceAptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes.Communication skills to articulate voice of the customer.Ability to coach, advise and develop teammates and peers.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement methods.Experience with lean principles and techniques to include Visual Management, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Cycle Time Reduction and Process Balancing, Yokoten, 5S, Set Up Reduction (SMED), and Kanban.Familiarity with capital project execution, equipment qualification, and production support.Key Competencies / Coil Equipment Focus Areas:Fin press and fin forming equipmentTube cutting, bending, and end forming equipmentTube-to-fin assembly processesMechanical or hydraulic expansion equipmentBrazing and soldering systemsLeak detection and pressure testing equipmentCoil cleaning, coating, and drying systemsMaterial handling and automation systemsTooling, fixtures, and poka-yoke devices for coil manufacturingAnnual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:$89,585.00 - $124,950.00Compensation Type:SalaryIncentive Eligible:NoSales Commission Eligible:NoDisclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
