Overview

The Senior Financial Accountant at First National Bank Texas will oversee monthly closing processes and prepare various financial reports, including FLASH reporting and quarterly Call Reports. This role involves collaboration with staff accountants, automation of workflows, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare FLASH reporting and oversee month end closing
  • Prepare quarterly Call Reports and financial reports
  • Prepare journal entries and assist in data/statistical analysis
  • Review and sign off on Staff Accountant journal entries
  • Configure, modify, test, and implement software workflows
  • Enforce Company and Departmental policies and procedures
  • Assist in audits and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee departmental processes and identify automation opportunities
  • Cross train and assist staff accountants
  • Participate in relevant webinars
