Overview

As a Safety and Security Officer at the Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for hotel guests and staff. Your responsibilities include monitoring premises, providing customer service, and addressing security issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with guests and team members to ensure a secure environment.
  • Maintain keen observation skills to identify potential security threats.
  • Provide friendly and service-oriented interactions with guests.
  • Implement essential security protocols and procedures.
  • Handle challenges and concerns promptly and effectively.

Required skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a safety and security role preferred
  • Certificate of Completion in Safety and Security Training
  • State Security License (as required)
  • CPR, First Aid and AED Certification
  • AHLA Certified Lodging Security Officer certification
