Job Description

Overview

Alturas Analytics, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Management Technician I to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of clinical samples. This role ensures compliance with SOPs and GLP guidelines while supporting laboratory operations and maintaining sample tracking in LIMS, ultimately aiding in the delivery of high-quality scientific information.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the receipt, log-in, storage, and distribution of study samples according to GLP and SOP guidelines
  • Perform quality control (QC) checks on study samples
  • Maintain sample tracking and documentation in LIMS
  • Correspond with clients/sponsors to resolve sample receipt issues
  • Schedule and complete in-process audits
  • Maintain cold storage equipment and clean work areas
  • May be required to drive a company vehicle short distances

Required skills

  • Associate's degree in physical, biological, or chemical science preferred or high school diploma with 1-3 years of exper
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and experience with computers
  • Skills in verbal and written communication
  • Organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret procedures, regulations, and guidelines
