Overview

Alturas Analytics, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Sample Management Technician I to manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of clinical samples while ensuring quality and compliance with SOPs and GLP guidelines. This on-site role in Moscow, Idaho supports laboratory operations and contributes to delivering high-quality scientific information efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage receipt, storage, and distribution of study samples
  • Perform quality control (QC) checks on study samples
  • Maintain accurate sample tracking in LIMS
  • Document all processes and maintain proper documentation
  • Correspond with clients to resolve sample receipt issues
  • Schedule and complete in-process audits
  • Maintain cold storage equipment and work areas

Required skills

  • Associate's degree preferred or high school diploma with 1-3 years of experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with computers and data entry
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills
