Overview

Aiken Regional Medical Centers is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Cardiac Unit in a seasonal, full-time night position. This role requires a commitment of six months and is targeted at candidates living 75 miles or more from the hospital. The facility is recognized for its high-quality healthcare services, particularly in cardiac care, and emphasizes a supportive environment for patient care and nursing professional development.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide patient care in the Cardiac Unit
  • Perform clinical assessments and telemetry monitoring
  • Respond to emergency situations
  • Collaborate with the nursing team and support nursing students
  • Participate in career development programs
  • Maintain current nursing certifications and licenses

Required skills

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
  • Experience in acute care settings (2 years full-time or 3 years part-time preferred)
  • Prior experience with Cerner
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications (upon hire)
  • Strong critical thinking and team collaboration skills
