Overview

The Revenue Cycle Manager at Moses Lake Community Health Services will lead and support the billing team in the Patient Financial Services (PFS) Department, focusing on ensuring accuracy in billing processes and compliance with regulations. This role involves monitoring accounts receivables, managing insurance claims submissions, and fostering effective interdepartmental partnerships.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage billing staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Oversee submission, tracking, and follow-up of insurance claims
  • Analyze reasons for claim denials and collaborate to prevent future issues
  • Develop and conduct training programs for new hires and existing staff
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as accounts receivable days and denial rates
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in billing practices
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations
  • Provide leadership to promote a positive work environment
  • Participate in Quality Improvement efforts
  • Manage departmental human resources functions

Required skills

  • Leadership experience in billing management
  • Five to seven years of billing experience in a healthcare setting
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance in healthcare billing
  • General work-related skills including written and verbal communication
  • Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) preferred
  • Ability to read and speak Spanish and/or Russian preferred
