Overview

Southeast Elevator Inc. is seeking an experienced Residential Elevator Mechanic to join their installation team in Morehead City, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electronic skills, leadership qualities, and a problem-solving mindset to effectively install various types of elevators and lifts in a progressive and inclusive work environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Install various types of elevators and lifts
  • Utilize troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Travel regularly throughout eastern North Carolina
  • Lift up to 150 lbs as needed

Required skills

  • Mechanical skills
  • Electronic and electro-mechanical systems knowledge
  • Hydraulic systems familiarity
  • Experience with common hand and power tools
  • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, PLCs, and DC control circuits
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to travel
