Job Description

Overview

Wesleyan College is looking for a full-time Regional Admissions Counselor to enhance recruitment efforts and convert interest into enrolled students. The role involves managing a defined geographic territory, using both in-person travel and virtual outreach to build relationships with prospective students and community partners while guiding them through the admission process.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive recruitment plan for a large geographic region.
  • Manage territory through data-informed strategies to achieve enrollment goals.
  • Deliver engaging information sessions and presentations for various audiences.
  • Nurture leads from inquiry through to enrollment with personalized follow-up.
  • Advise students and families on admission and scholarship processes.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to facilitate peer-to-peer interactions.
  • Use CRM and data to set recruitment goals and measure performance.
  • Engage in professional development activities to enhance recruitment skills.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively
  • Proficiency with standard office tools and ability to learn a recruitment CRM
  • Experience in college enrollment or student recruitment preferred
  • Familiarity with Georgia secondary schools and community organizations preferred
