Overview

E-Z Bel Construction is seeking a Project Manager for Traffic Signals in San Antonio, Texas. This role involves leading the full-cycle planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects, primarily focusing on roadway, underground utilities, traffic signals, and concrete scopes. The Project Manager will ensure project delivery meets schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards while serving as the primary contact for owners and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of civil construction projects.
  • Review drawings, contracts, and specifications for compliance with scope and budget.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Supervise Assistant Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and Coordinators.
  • Manage project budgets, earned revenue, and cost forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate financial entries in Spectrum and HCSS.
  • Enforce safety standards and develop project-specific safety plans.
  • Maintain compliance with permits and regulations.
  • Serve as primary contact for stakeholders including owners and subcontractors.
  • Mentor team members and provide performance feedback.
  • Oversee change management and closeout processes.
  • Utilize various project management software for reporting and controls.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in civil construction.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Spectrum, Procore, HCSS.
  • Strong financial management skills, including forecasting and pay applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership in safety culture and regulatory compliance.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
