Overview

SOLTESZ is seeking a Project Manager for their Waldorf, MD office to lead a variety of civil/site land development design projects. This role involves managing client relations, project financials, and the technical supervision of design staff while ensuring client satisfaction and project profitability.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage client relations and project management
  • Develop and prepare proposals for clients
  • Provide excellent client service and technical expertise
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, and invoicing
  • Represent clients at public presentations and hearings
  • Engage in business development and marketing for the firm
  • Supervise and mentor design staff, including engineers and designers
  • Conduct quality control of civil/site designs
  • Plan workload and staff resources
  • Provide regular feedback and recognition to employees

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Maryland
  • 10-12 years of progressive experience in civil engineering land development design
  • 5+ years of experience managing civil/site design for land development projects
  • 5+ years of experience managing design staff
  • Excellent organizational and delegation skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in nurturing client relationships
