Overview

Are you an experienced Project Manager who can bring structure to complex projects, keep multiple priorities moving, and communicate confidently with customers and cross-functional teams? Fameccanica North America is seeking a Project Manager with a strong project management foundation who can contribute quickly. In this role, you will manage complex automation projects from initial agreement through final customer acceptance. You will coordinate schedules, track commitments, communicate project status, and help ensure projects are delivered on time while meeting contractual and customer expectations. What Youll Do Lead multiple projects from kickoff through final customer acceptance Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project Coordinate work across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, finance, and customer teams Track project milestones, action items, risks, decisions, and deliverables Communicate project status, concerns, and required actions clearly and consistently Identify potential issues early and develop practical solutions to keep projects moving Apply structured risk-management and problem-solving approaches Manage project changes while considering schedule, cost, scope, and customer impact Support contractual obligations, project financial performance, and customer satisfaction Ask thoughtful questions, understand the broader project picture, and follow through on details Promote accountability, collaboration, and effective decision-making across project teams What You Bring Bachelors degree in engineering, business, science, project management, related discipline, or equivalent professional experience Several years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects A solid understanding of project scheduling, forecasting, risk management, and change management Strong Microsoft Project skills; experience with Project Server is helpful but not required Advanced or highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain sight of the overall project objective Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously A resourceful, methodical approach to investigating problems and finding solutions The confidence to communicate directly, set expectations, and hold others accountable when needed The ability to work independently without extensive day-to-day direction Candidates should be comfortable with potential travel of up to approximately 15% Helpful, But Not Required Experience in industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing, engineering, or another technical project environment Experience working with SAP Familiarity with Power BI Experience supporting international projects or globally distributed teams Fameccanica North America is a leader in industrial automation dedicated to the design, development, and manufacture of innovative technologies, products, and services.
