Overview

LFP Associates is looking for a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift specializing in Plastic Injection Molding. This role is crucial in leading and overseeing the daily operations in manufacturing automotive components while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are maintained.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise hourly production employees and ensure production schedules are met
  • Monitor injection molding processes and machine performance
  • Enforce compliance with quality standards and safety requirements
  • Address production issues and coordinate with maintenance and quality teams
  • Conduct shift start-up meetings and daily production reporting
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Manufacturing and 6S
  • Train, coach, and develop team members
  • Participate in investigations and corrective actions
  • Enforce company policies related to safety and performance management

Required skills

  • Experience in manufacturing operations and supervisory roles
  • Background in Plastic Injection Molding
  • Knowledge of automotive quality systems (IATF 16949, SPC, PPAP)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency with production metrics and continuous improvement tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and inspire teams
