Overview

District Photo is seeking a Production Lead in Phoenix to enhance the flow of products through the production area. This junior leadership position involves coordinating people, equipment, and resources to meet production goals while ensuring quality and safety. The role is designed for those aspiring to grow into broader leadership roles within the company.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead employees in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Assess team members' skills, identify training needs, and assign staff effectively.
  • Monitor productivity and identify opportunities to improve output.
  • Help resolve minor production issues and escalate complex problems as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the Materials team to maintain inventory and supply levels.
  • Partner with the technical maintenance team for equipment upkeep.
  • Expedite orders to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Support design and implementation of new procedures and process improvements.
  • Communicate expectations and lead change effectively.
  • Promote and enforce company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Coach and train team members through feedback and development opportunities.
