Responsibilities: Including but not limited to the following: Coordinate production engineering activities for automotive component programs from production preparation through mass production. Review engineering orders, change requests, technical drawings, and customer specifications, and coordinate required production changes. Maintain production engineering documents, project information, and manufacturing data using SAP, ERP, CAD, and related systems. Support the installation, modification, testing, and production readiness of manufacturing lines, equipment, and tooling. Analyze production processes, equipment conditions, and manufacturing performance to identify opportunities for improved quality, productivity, and efficiency. Investigate production and quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend appropriate corrective actions and technical solutions. Collaborate with customers, internal departments, and overseas headquarters to address engineering issues and support project requirements. Recommend and implement practical, cost-effective improvements to manufacturing processes, equipment configurations, and production methods. Recommend practical and cost-effective production methods, equipment configurations, and process improvements for current and future automotive and electric vehicle production programs.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical field. More than two (2) years of relevant experience in production engineering, project engineering, manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, process improvement, new product launch support, or a related engineering function.
