Overview

Micron Technology is seeking motivated Process and Equipment Maintenance Technicians to support wafer fabrication in Boise, Idaho. This role involves monitoring and sustaining equipment and processes while collaborating with engineering and operations to enhance efficiency, yield, and performance in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor semiconductor processing equipment, handling multiple online manufacturing systems.
  • Support wafer process efficiency, quality, and innovation through collaboration with engineering and operations.
  • Conduct problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts using data analysis.
  • Work in cleanroom and office environments, adapting to fabrication and data analysis needs.
  • Follow safety protocols and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Document process deviations and drive improvements through root cause analysis.
  • Lead and support projects focused on equipment maintenance and operational improvements.

Required skills

  • 2+ years of experience in preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Mechanical, electronic, and software troubleshooting skills.
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and alternate between day and night shifts.
  • Ability to wear cleanroom garments and PPE.
  • Experience with HVAC/R systems operations.
