Overview

Muller Brazil is seeking a diligent Prelitigation Paralegal to lead medical record procurement and analysis in support of litigation for the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP). This role is essential for ensuring that case files contain comprehensive medical histories necessary for legal proceedings.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze client intake forms and attorney notes to identify relevant healthcare providers
  • Generate and execute medical record requests while ensuring HIPAA compliance
  • Review medical record files for follow-up and completeness
  • Facilitate acquisition of specialized reports such as VAERS records
  • Perform quality control on incoming records for completeness
  • Review records for high-priority data points including vaccination logs and symptom onset dates
  • Maintain accurate tracking in Filevine and manage digital files on G Suite
  • Collaborate with attorneys and conduct follow-up calls with clients
  • Maintain detailed billing entries for all tasks

Required skills
