Overview

Nextaff of Sarasota is hiring two Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) for a family-owned medical practice in Bradenton and North Sarasota, focusing on exceptional patient care and team collaboration. This role offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth, stability, and mentorship, catering to both experienced PTAs and new graduates.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist Physical Therapists with individualized treatment plans
  • Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs
  • Deliver compassionate, hands-on patient care
  • Monitor patient progress and document within EMR
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, PTs, and clinical staff
  • Help create an outstanding patient experience from start to finish
  • Work with patients recovering from various conditions

Required skills

  • Active Florida PTA license
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Passion for helping patients recover and improve quality of life
