Overview

The Law Office of Brian H. Turner is seeking a full-time Personal Injury Case Manager to join their small, trial-focused plaintiff personal injury firm in Sacramento. This role involves managing a caseload of 40-50 client files throughout both pre-litigation and active litigation phases, ensuring comprehensive client care and collaboration with attorneys and paralegals.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the client relationship through the pre-litigation phase with proactive communication and updates
  • Coordinate medical treatment and collect necessary documentation
  • Draft demand letters and manage case milestones toward resolution or litigation
  • Manage client cases once a lawsuit is filed, including litigation calendar and deadlines
  • Coordinate discovery responses and schedule depositions
  • Communicate proactively with clients regarding case progress

Required skills

  • 2+ years of plaintiff personal injury case management experience or transferable skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail
  • Decision-making skills in driving case progression
  • Genuine care for clients in difficult circumstances
  • Familiarity with personal injury case management software (Filevine, Litify, Smokeball, Clio, etc.) is preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus
