Job Description

Overview

Optima Medical AZ is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Coordinator in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role involves managing payroll processing and benefits administration for the medical group's staff while ensuring accurate and efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Process enrollments quickly and accurately
  • Resolve employee issues with benefits administrators and insurance providers
  • Consult with employees regarding eligibility and other pertinent issues
  • Assist employees in enrolling in dental, vision, and medical insurance plans
  • Coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and calculate garnishments
  • Handle 401k audits, 1095-c processing, and EEO-1 filing
  • Assist with other tasks as directed

Required skills

  • 1-4 years experience in benefits administration and payroll
  • Degree in Business, Accounting, or related field preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively

  • Timeliness and dependability
  • HS diploma or GED equivalent
