Overview

Goodwin Motor Group is seeking a part-time Used Car Driver to transport vehicles between dealerships and assist with registration runs. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient vehicle operations while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

  • Transport vehicles between dealerships in a safe manner
  • Inspect outgoing and incoming vehicles for damage or missing equipment
  • Verify that all documents and payments are received from other dealerships
  • Account for all trip expenses including gasoline and tolls
  • Advise manager if transport vehicles need repairs and maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of personal work area and transport vehicles
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Required skills

  • Working knowledge of department functions, policies, and organization
  • Current department technology and terminology
  • Thorough knowledge of the area's public road system
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties accurately under pressure
