Overview

Alaska Rubber and Rigging Supply Inc is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative for their Tacoma, Washington location. This role involves building strategic relationships with clients, implementing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth within a designated territory while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Grow market share in a designated territory with existing and potential customers
  • Contact customers and prospective customers through appointments and cold calls
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver quotes, products, and services
  • Strengthen relationships with customers and understand their needs
  • Provide on-site expertise and solve problems
  • Attend training and sales meetings as required
  • Accurate and meaningful use of CRM
  • Control sales expenses

Required skills

  • Sales experience in hose and fitting or other industrial distribution sector
  • Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn new applications
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Self-discipline and ability to make a great first impression
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
