Overview

American Industrial Services is seeking an Outside Advertising Sales Agent to join their Hauling Division in Long Beach, CA. This role focuses on driving sales growth, building new client relationships, and promoting sustainable hauling services in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the waste disposal and hauling industry
  • Prospect and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals
  • Target commercial businesses, construction companies, and municipal organizations for hauling services
  • Conduct presentations and proposals highlighting the benefits of hauling solutions
  • Maintain and update a pipeline of potential clients
  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address client inquiries
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Regularly report on sales activities and performance metrics

Required skills

  • Sales experience in waste disposal or hauling
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
