Job Description

Overview

SRK Systems, Inc. is seeking an Oracle Financials Consultant to provide data processing consulting services. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, managing support tickets, and ensuring effective communication between finance users and IT teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements for GL, AP, AR, FA, Intercompany, and Taxes
  • Translate requirements into functional design documents (FDDs)
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets according to business impact
  • Investigate and resolve production issues through root cause analysis
  • Create and monitor service requests with Oracle Support
  • Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion Cloud setups
  • Conduct impact assessments for system changes and patches
  • Lead quarterly patch testing cycles including documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end process validation
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with test scenarios and defect tracking
  • Participate in solution design discussions
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes and automate operations
  • Serve as a liaison between finance users and IT teams
  • Deliver training and guidance to end users
  • Provide support during month-end and year-end close cycles
