The role of an OB/GYN Hospitalist at ERO Locums involves providing patient-centered care across various healthcare settings, including hospitals and clinics. This position emphasizes collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and offers opportunities for providers to deliver high-quality obstetric and gynecologic care in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide patient-centered care in hospital and clinic environments
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and partner directly with physicians
  • Utilize care modalities such as in-person, telephone, video, and secure email communications
  • Conduct history-taking, physical exams, treatment planning, and patient education
  • Work flexibly across departments based on competency and business needs

Required skills

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
  • Residency trained in OB/GYN
  • Valid state medical license and DEA registration
  • Board certification or board eligibility in OB/GYN
  • BLS or ACLS certification upon hire or within 90 days
  • Facility-verified case logs demonstrating 30-40 deliveries in the past 36 months
  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends
