Overview

The Modular Plan Reviewer position at ICC NTA LLC involves providing plan review services to ensure compliance with building codes for modular constructions. The role requires collaboration with manufacturers and design professionals to conduct thorough reviews and address inquiries related to building designs.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct code and program-related reviews of design packages and manuals
  • Provide timely clarifications and responses to client inquiries
  • Participate in department peer review programs
  • Maintain required ICC and State credentials
  • Address inquiries from inspection staff and clients regarding approved designs
  • Assist in developing improved systems and procedures for the Modular Department
  • Promote effective communication throughout the organization
  • Assist with training co-workers as needed
  • Develop and submit quotes and business proposals in response to client solicitations

Required skills

  • 4-year degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building Trades, or related field
  • Completion of ICC credentials for Building, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing
  • Minimum of three years' experience in the building construction industry
  • Experience with offsite construction (modular, panelized, component)
  • Plan review experience preferred
