Overview

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a Medical Technologist PRN to join their dedicated team. In this role, you will conduct routine and complex laboratory tests to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. The position emphasizes the importance of quality care and teamwork in delivering exceptional patient service.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures
  • Produce accurate results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and other designated areas
  • Maintain quality results through standards and controls
  • Calibrate equipment and verify function through routine maintenance
  • Monitor quality control measures and protocols

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in laboratory science or related science
  • Certification or registry as a medical technologist by CLIA 88 or equivalent
  • Experience preferred in laboratory testing and procedures
