Job Description

Overview

Genmab is seeking a Hematology Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior MSL to join their Global Medical Affairs team in Texas. The role involves developing relationships with medical thought leaders, providing scientific information, and supporting the education of healthcare providers regarding Genmab's products. This position requires approximately 50% domestic travel within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and maintain relationships with key thought leaders and healthcare providers in assigned territory
  • Develop and execute territory plans aligned with Medical Affairs strategies
  • Provide insights on emerging scientific data regarding Genmab products
  • Present clinical and scientific information to healthcare providers
  • Support product launches with education for safe use of medicines
  • Act as point of contact for investigator-sponsored trials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Genmab-sponsored trials
  • Serve as a scientific resource to commercial partners
  • Represent Genmab at medical and scientific conferences

Required skills

  • Advanced/scientific medical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) or clinical background with extensive hematology/oncology experienc
  • At least 2 years of MSL/Medical Affairs experience in Oncology/Hematology
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare and access environments
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a high-matrixed environment
  • Experience with product launches or as a product/therapeutic point
  • Strong compliance knowledge and adherence to corporate compliance policies
  • Current knowledge of FDA, OIG, ICH, GCP, PhRMA Code, and HIPAA regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to use multiple business applications
